A 52-year-old man is in custody after a police incident, that included shutting down Highway 3A, took place in Olalla.

Several hours later, at about 9 p.m., the incident ended peacefully said Moskaluk, with the man being taken into custody under the authority of the Mental Health Act.

“On our arrival, officers made contact with the man inside his home, however, he was reluctant to co-operate with police. As a precautionary measure, support and assistance was sought from additional resources including the SED ERT,” stated Moskaluk.
