RCMP looking for woman missing in Penticton area

Roxanne Louie has been missing in the Penticton area since Sunday.

The public is asked to be on the lookout for a Vancouver woman missing in the Penticton area since Sunday.

Roxanne Louie, 26, was in the city visiting family and friends, and hasn’t been seen nor heard from since 1 a.m. on Jan. 4. She also failed to show up at the Penticton airport for a 9:45 a.m. flight that day to Vancouver.

Penticton RCMP said in a press release that her worried family contacted police on Tuesday.

Louie is described as five-foot-five, 117 pounds with long, brown hair and brown eyes. She is of First Nations descent.
