UPDATE: Serious crash on Highway 97 near Oliver

At least three people were injured in the collision

UPDATE: 2:04 p.m.

DriveBC is reporting Highway 97 is open to single alternating traffic.

Motorists should expect major delays.

At least one person is being airlifted to hospital following a collision on Highway 97 near Oliver.

The incident happened just before 10 a.m.

Three people are reported to be injured in the incident.

The victims will be transported to Kelowna General Hospital.

Motorists are being told to use Road 22 to Black Sage Road.

The stretch of the highway between the area is commonly known as ‘Graveyard Hill’ and Dead Man’s Lake.
