Single-vehicle accident south of Summerland

Emergency crews were called on Wednesday afternoon after a motorist lost control on a slippery road

Emergency crews were called following a single vehicle accident on Highway 97 near Pyramid Provincial Park on Wednesday afternoon.

Police say icy road conditions played a factor in the accident.

Throughout the day, crews have attended numerous accidents in Summerland and the South Okanagan as a result of the snowy weather.
