Smoky skies bulletin rescinded

Blue skies have returned across the Southern Interior.

As of Sunday afternoon, the Ministry of Environment has ended the smoky skies bulletin due to improving air quality.

While some wildfires remain active in the region, the weather system that is moving through the Interior has significantly reduced the amount of smoke and improved air quality.

The bulletin is lifted for the Okanagan, Shuswap, Similkameen and Columbia regions.
