Accident between an SUV and a car in Penticton on Friday afternoon

A stop sign was taken out in a motor vehicle incident on Friday afternoon.

At around 3:40 p.m. a SUV and car were involved in a crash at the intersection of Duncan Avenue East and Manitoba Street. Westbound traffic and Manitoba Street traffic on the north side of Duncan were shut down while clean up was ongoing.

According to a witness at the scene, it is believed there was only minor injuries to those in the vehicles.
