Fire crews responded to a structure fire in Summerland early in the morning of Nov. 5.
Rob Robinson, chief of the Summerland Fire Department, said the structure fire was reported at 2:46 a.m., at a shed at the end of Ritchie Street.
A total of 13 firefighters, two engines and a ladder truck were at the scene, with a rescue truck ready to respond as well.
The crews remained at the scene for two hours, finishing around 5 a.m.
Robinson said the fire destroyed a shed measuring three metres by three metres. Two other nearby sheds and a fence also caught fire.
“Crews did a great job of getting water on it and getting it knocked down,” Robinson said.
The cause of the fire is not known at present.
