Summerland’s favourite Olympian’s website has apparently been censored in Russia, prompting some media to suggest it’s because of a hunky photo he posted last month.

Bobsledder Justin Kripps on Thursday tweeted a screenshot of what he saw when he tried to access his personal website from a computer in Sochi.

The text on the page that warns the URL has been blocked apparently indicates the website violates some aspect of Russian legislation.

“Looks like my website is censored in Russia, haha classic #SochiProblems I wonder if there's a camera in my room,” Kripps tweeted.

Some media outlets have speculated his website was flagged due to a photo he tweeted in January that showed him and his burly teammates in their underwear received international attention.

“Double checking our race weight for the 4man Sunday,” Kripps wrote in the tweet that accompanied the photo.
