Gerri Small, a resident of Village by the Station, with the free-standing chicken egg she set up on the desk at her residence in celebration of the spring equinox when the day and night are about the same duration and the tilt of the earth’s axis neither inclines towards or away from the sun. According to the legend, this is the only one of two times each year this can be done with an egg which many people say is just a myth.
