A joyride through town landed three teenagers in custody and left one facing charges after evading police.

Two 17-year-olds and a 13-year-old were driving at high rates of speed through town around 1 a.m., refusing to stop for police.

RCMP estimated three or four sightings by members, but the vehicle eventually lost control rolling up on a sidewalk on Carmi Avenue.

The driver was arrested for multiple charges of flight from police, dangerous operation of a motor vehicle and received a three-day immediate roadside prohibition.
