The town of Oliver has launched social media accounts to offer better communication with residents.
The accounts will help to get out messages about both news and information about any developing issues that may affect local residents. This will help to keep residents updated about any situation that may arise with up to date information.
“As we head into the flooding and fire season, these social media sites will be used as one of our primary tools for communicating to residents, along with the town website and public service announcements,” said Mayor Ron Havanes.
