The Town of Osoyoos is in possession of several found bikes that if not claimed will go to a local charity or be disposed of.
If you had a bike go missing or has been stolen in the past year it may be in the town’s possession, said their bylaw department.
To determine ownership, they require a letter or an email, addressed to the Bylaw Enforcement Officer, containing the bike’s description (colour, size, make and if possible serial number) and your contact information. The letter can be mailed, faxed, delivered in person, or sent via email to bylaw@osoyoos.ca.
If your description matches that of one of these bikes, the officer will contact you to coordinate a meeting to get the bike back.
Bikes must be claimed no later than Friday, April 10, 2023. Any bikes not claimed by April 10, will be given to a charitable organization or otherwise disposed of, said bylaws.
