Two men arrested for allegedly trafficking drugs in Penticton

One man fled before later being arrested

Penticton RCMP officers arrested two men for alleged drug trafficking on July 29, near Okanagan Avenue West and Quebec Street.

While attempting to arrest one of the men, he fled on a bicycle and then on foot, into a nearby wooded area. He was later arrested.

The two men, both residents of Penticton in their thirties, were found to be in possession of controlled substances.

Both were released and are set to appear in court at a later date.
