For the first time in two years, Remembrance Day services are heading back indoors at the Penticton Trade and Convention Centre (PTCC).

Penticton Legion branch 40 will host two ceremonies on Nov. 11, one at the PTCC and the other outdoors at the cenotaph at Veteran’s Park.

Both ceremonies will start at 10:30 a.m.

A bus will be provided for those needing a ride from the legion to the convention centre at 9:30 a.m.

There will be a parade starting in the PTCC parking lot at 10 a.m and the ceremony will start at 10:30 a.m.

At 11 a.m., there will be a moment of silence, followed by wreath laying and speeches at both services.

A Remembrance Day ceremony will be held at the cenotaph at Veteran’s Park in the 100 block of Main Street.

Following the ceremony, the Legion, 257 Brunswick St., will then open to the public for soup and sandwiches by donation.

Live entertainment by Candie as well as a performance from the pipe band.
