The new public washrooms at Manitou Park in Naramata are closed again following misuse and vandalism to the facility. The washrooms, which are maintained by the Regional District of Okanagan-Similkameen (RDOS), were closed on Jan. 5 and Feb. 15 due to flushing of garbage, resulting in an extensive sewer blockage.

The washrooms are connected to septic.

Residents and other park visitors are reminded to follow appropriate use of the washroom facility, as indicated by signage in the building. If the washrooms require attention or if you discover vandalism, please contact the RDOS by email at parks@rdos.bc.ca.

Park users are encouraged to report acts of vandalism in progress to the RCMP by calling the non-emergency number at 250-492-4300.
