Water main break on Ellis Ave. shuts water off to the block

Estimated time of repair is 1:30 p.m.

The City of Penticton utilities crew is currently responding to and repairing a water main break in front of 85 Ellis Avenue Monday morning.

Water has been shut off and estimated time to return service is 1:30 p.m.

Ellis Ave. in the southbound lane will be closed at the round-a-bout.

It isn’t known at this time what caused the water main break or how many businesses in the area are affected.
