A suspected watermain leak has closed Government Street Wednesday morning.
The suspected leak at 1160 Government Street has closed the street between Nelson Avenue and Penticton Avenue to north and south bound traffic from 9 a.m. to 7 a.m. Wednesday, April 21, with the potential for additional closures required throughout the day.
City crews work to determine the location of the suspected leak.
Meanwhile, Eastside Road is closed from Penticton past Okanagan Falls in both directions after an early morning mudslide. Aim Roads suggests taking Highway 97 instead. The next update on the mudslide and road situation will be at 3 p.m.
