We need to make opening or moving a business here much easier and become a more streamlined process to attract more businesses that will in turn supply more jobs.

The second is to help existing businesses grow and prosper. 85 per cent of jobs are created by small business. The city can help existing businesses grow by using the economic development office to employ a variety of strategies such as helping to match local producers new markets or creating a resource information bank/mentor system to help local business owners develop skill and improve profitability to grow their enterprise.
