A woman who died after a being struck by a vehicle crossing the street has been identified by the BC Coroners service.
Colleen Esther Mary Brennan, 48, was crossing the street at the corner of Maple Street 0and Alexander Avenue around 4 p.m. on Aug. 18 when she was struck by a pick-up truck. Brennan was rushed to the hospital, but was pronounced dead shortly after her arrival.
The Western News previously reported the incident took place on Carmi Avenue, however RCMP have confirmed that was an error in the Coroner's report.
The BC Coroners Service and the RCMP are continuing to investigate the death.
