Hellyer, Albert (Thomas)
Albert of Penticton, BC passed away at the age of 84, on July 8th, 2017, at the Penticton Regional Hospital. Survived by his loving wife Yvonne, sons: Michael, Gregory (Cathy), Richard (Karen). Daughters: Leanne (Gary), Trudy (Greg). 15 grandchildren, 15 great-grandchildren, 3 sisters, many nieces and nephews. Born on August 27, 1932 in Pipestone, MB. Predeceased by parents Tom and Irma Hellyer and brother Fred.
Albert loved his friends, had a great sense of humour and such a charmer. His passions were volunteering, playing horseshoes, working at the club, gardening, constructing birdhouses and yard ornaments and any challenges that came before him. Let’s not forget his passion for a new car every 2 years.
He will be missed by his family and friends. As per his request there will be no service. The family would like to thank the doctors and nurses that cared for Albert while in hospital.
