In Loving Memory ~

It is with heavy hearts that we announce the passing of Anita Lau. She died on June 15, 2024, in Penticton, BC after a sudden hemorrhagic stroke, surrounded by her family. She was comfortable and is now resting in peace after a long struggle with health issues.

Anita was a loving mother and wife, survived by her husband, Sam and her two children, Vincent and Winnie.

She was kind and compassionate, having a big heart for others, a beacon of hope, and an inspiration to her family, always caring about their well-being. She loved and was loved by family and friends, who miss her dearly.

Thank you to all the healthcare staff who looked after our family through this process, especially RNs (Sue, Erin, Christina, Lisa), RTs (Mya), MDs (Drs. Manning, Klassen, Biagoni) and the paramedics, firefighters and first responders. Thanks for allowing our family time to arrive and say goodbye, we are forever grateful.

Although it had been a challenging and emotional time for us, Sam, Vince and Winnie want to give our heartfelt thanks to everyone who has loved and supported Anita and our family throughout the years. We want you to know that you have touched all our lives, including Anita's - as much as you have touched her life.

We are planning a small private ceremony for close family/friends to celebrate her life in the future when the family is ready. We ask that any correspondence and questions be saved for a later time and directed to Vince, in order to give the family time to heal and grieve.

We appreciate your patience and understanding during this time.

In lieu of flowers or gifts, we invite contributions be made to a charity of your choosing in Anita's name, honouring her memory.
