Born April 15, 1956, passed away peacefully on October 26, 2018 surrounded by family. Barry died after a courageous two year battle with T-cell lymphoma cancer. Barry strived to live his life to the fullest with cancer rather than focus on dying from cancer. Barry was predeceased by his parents Douglas and Violet. He leaves behind his best friend, soul mate and wife Shannon Spencer; sister Susan; brothers: Terry (Shirley) and Bruce; cousin Ray; nephew David (Lisa); great niece Amylee; great nephew Brandon. Also, extended family; Shannon's sons: Mark (Carrie), Cody and Joey (Jaz); grandson Andrew; Auntie Jo. We also had some very loving friends: Kathy D., Dennis, Laverne, Sharon, Carol, Sandie and Dennis, Judy and Mitchell, Tony and Ana, Nikita, Nancy, Eleanor and Larry.
We love all of you and all your support. Barry worked at Leelynn Kitchens and for the Salvation Army. Barry was generous, jovial and always smiling with a joke to tell. He had a very positive outlook on life. You go with the flow. Barry loved old cars hence his Baracuda, played the drums and sang Karaoke. He loved life itself and music.
