September 14, 1932 - April 30, 2019
It is with heavy hearts that we announce the passing of Beryl Slessor at the age of 86.

Beryl passed away peacefully at the Penticton Regional Hospital on April 30, 2019. She will be dearly missed. Beryl is survived by her husband of 58 years Bill Slessor, daughters Karen (Ian) Slessor, Cathy (Ron) Keizer, grandson Carter Keizer, and son Rick (Andrea) Slessor.

Beryl was born in Longton, Stoke on Trent, England in 1932. After graduating as a physiotherapist, Beryl sought adventure and immigrated to Canada in 1955 after accepting a job with the Canadian Arthritis Society. After brief stops in Quebec and Nelson, Beryl eventually settled in Prince George and bought a physiotherapy practice. It was there where she met her husband Bill Slessor. In 1961 the couple moved to Penticton and started their family. Beryl was a loving dedicated wife, mother and grandmother and was truly the foundation of our family. We will all miss her lovely smile, her laugh, her sense of humour, incredible strength and caring ways.

The family would like to extend our warmest thanks to the medical staff and all the support workers at the Penticton Regional Hospital for their incredible care and support.

In keeping with Beryl's wishes, there will be no service at this time.

In lieu of flowers, a donation to the Penticton Regional Hospital new tower project would be most appreciated.
