In loving memory ~

1946 - 2024

It is with deep sorrow that we announce the passing of Beth Cameron, age 78, on November 15, 2024, in her beloved hometown of Penticton, BC. Born and raised in Penticton, Beth spent her life surrounded by the beauty of the community, and the love of her family and friends.

Beth is survived by her devoted husband, Rick Cameron; loving and caring daughters, Sheri Bawtinheimer (James), Shelley Wyatt (Randy), Suzanne Parrott Hockey (Dan), and stepdaughter Laura Cameron-Crichlow (Duane); 13 grandchildren (and spouses), and 4 great-grandchildren, who all brought her immense joy.

She is also survived by sisters, Bernice Millar (Cliff) and Rhonda Philipps (Rainer). Beth's other cherished family members include Randall and Robert Hansen, Michelle Milne, Jean and Randy Manuel; stepsisters, Deanne McAndrews (Ian), Deirdre Riddle (Dave); sisters-in-law, Judy Daigneault and Ruth McDowell; plus many nieces, nephews, cousins and their spouses.

She was predeceased by first husband, Terence Parrott; parents, Wilf and Annie Miller; sister, Marna Muric (Robin); stepmother, Audrey Miller (Joy).

Beth's commitment to her community and church was unwavering. She worked for many years at Penticton IGA and was well known throughout the community for her friendly, caring, and hardworking nature. She was a longtime active member of the Church of the Nazarene where her faith, friendships, and service to others were an important part of who she was.

Beth was adventurous and enjoyed travel, music, homemaking, coffee or dinner with family and friends, and puzzles. She will be long remembered and cherished for her love, warmth, kindness and selflessness.

Due to weather and travel considerations, Beth's burials and Celebration of Life will be held in the spring of 2025. Further details will be announced closer to the time.

The family extends heartfelt thanks to the incredible, compassionate and caring staff at Penticton Regional Hospital where Beth lost a short but valiant fight to an aggressive cancer, and where, surrounded by family, she passed away peacefully to be with her Lord. Also, many thanks to Pastor Brock and friends at the Church of the Nazarene.

In lieu of flowers, donations may be made to the Terry Fox Foundation or the BC Cancer Foundation in Beth's memory.
