After a valiant effort, Christine passed away with her family by her side on March 26, 2017 at the age of 47 years. She will be sadly missed by her loving husband Eric Johnston, mother, Maria Pinheiro, son Jesse (Molly) Raposo of Kelowna, BC, Roger (Lucienne) Johnston, Melissa (Kevin) Aschhoff and Melanie (Howie) Kolson. Christine was sadly predeceased by her father Andre Pinheiro, Grandmother Adelia Lopes, and Grandfather Antonio Lopes. Christine was a long time associate at Walmart for over 25 years. She enjoyed volunteer work, loved to travel and her favorite destination was Las Vegas and Portugal. She really loved her niece Keira and nephew Tristan Aschhoff. Prayers will be said on Monday April 3, 2017 at 7:00 p.m and a Mass Of Christian Burial will be held on Tuesday April 4, 2017 at 10:30 AM with Father Rex Velmonte officiating. Both are being held at St. Ann Parish located at 1296 Main Street, Penticton BC. In lieu of flowers, donations can be made to the Canadian Diabetes Association or The Kidney Foundation of Canada.
