Long-time resident of Okanagan Falls Donna May Thompson died peacefully Wednesday, July 24th, 2024 in Penticton BC surrounded by her family. Born in Haven Hill Hospital in Penticton on February 4th, 1941.
Donna May was a survivor and a woman of amazing strength and kindness. She was a devoted wife and mother to her two children.
She was predeceased by her husband Morris Thompson and her daughter Joanne Bailey, her brothers Jim Moriarty and Glen Moriarty. She is survived by her son Dale, wife Leslie & grandson Nash, her son-in-law Clint Bailey & grandchildren Wyatt and Hannah. Also survived by her brother Don Moriarty, sister Margaret (Don Barker) and sister Sharon (Vance Potter), loving in-laws, nieces & nephews and a host of long-time friends.
Donations can be made in Donna May's honour to the charity of one's choice.
An internment service will be held on Saturday, August 24th at 10 am, followed by a Celebration of Life at the Okanagan Falls Community Hall on Saturday, August 24th at 11:30 am.
