Doreen died peacefully in her sleep on February 18, 2019, at the age of 84.
She is survived by her daughters Kathy Giene (Darcy) of Peachland, B.C., Nancy Aken (Chris) of Prince George, B.C., her brother David of Edmonton, Alberta, six grandchildren and 10 great grandchildren. There will no service by request. In lieu of flowers, donations to the SPCA would be appreciated.
