Our Mom and Grandma passed away peacefully on the morning of May 3, 2019 in Summerland, BC. She was born in Edmonton in 1920 and as a young child lived in Ft. Good Hope, Aklavik and Ft. Simpson. In her early twenties she worked for the RCMP in New Westminster and then she joined the Air Force during WWII and worked as a radio telephone operator. In 1948 she married Cyril Whitton and moved to Edmonton. They built a home in St. Albert where they raised a family. Then in 1972 they settled in Penticton where she established deep roots within the community. In 2013 she moved to Summerland.
Mom was predeceased by our Dad Cy in 1990.
