It is with such sadness that we announce the passing of our loving mother, grandmother, great and great- great grandmother. Mom passed away at the age of 97 1/2 at her home in Haven Hill with her family at her side. Surviving are her children, Elaine (Ron) Hannah of Merritt, Barry (Erma) of Saskatoon, Darrell (Pat) of Surrey, Garth (Linda) of OK Falls and Ellen (Dennis) Thatchuk of Penticton, 14 grandchildren, 27 great grandchildren and 3 great -great grandchildren and one sister Mona Herman of Regina. Mom was predeceased by her childhood sweetheart and husband Arthur in Dec. 2011 after 73 1/2 years of marriage. Mom was baptized as one of Jehovah’s Witnesses in 1940 and her hope was that in the future, she would receive a resurrection to life on earth in a peaceful paradise as the Bible promises. The family wishes to thank the care aides and nurses of Haven Hill for their special love and respect they showed our sweet mom. Her memorial will be at the West side of the Kingdom Hall of Jehovah’s Witnesses, 30 Roy Ave. on Thursday, May 1/14 at 1:30pm
