Passed away peacefully on May 17, 2016 at the age of 77 years. Remembered and sadly missed by his loving wife Debra Corinne Simpson; children: Raymond (Karey) Simpson of Penticton, Arthur (Teresa) Simpson of Okanagan Falls, George Simpson of Penticton, Lora (Kelly) Haggerty of Okanagan Falls; grandchildren: Mathew, Cody, Nicholas, Alice (Riley), Shandi (Taylor), Breanna (Brandon), Owen (Sophie), Kelsey, Korbin, Kali; siblings: William (Elenor) Simpson of Rimbey, AB and Margaret (Ernie) Pennington of Flaxcombe, SK. Ed was sadly predeceased by his first wife Alice and son Lee. Also his parents Elizabeth and William Simpson and siblings: Allen, Robert, and Charles Simpson, Jane Simpson, Ann Murray and Edith Wallace and many cousins, nieces and nephews. Edward was a very proud and stubborn man but loved his family dearly. Known as Fast Eddy and Uncle Ed by all and loved to brighten everyones day with his infectious giggle and many phone calls. His favourite past time was fishing at his favourite spot on East Side Road at the Squeaky sign. His nephew Mike was a great friend and help in the last year of his life. They shared many laughs and stories. Uncle Ed will be sadly missed by Mike and all of his loved ones. A Celebration of Life will be held at a later date.
