Eleanor was 83 years of age when she lost her battle with cancer and suddenly taken from us on Friday, February 2nd.
Eleanor was predeceased by her parents Olive and Earl, and brother Elmer.
She is survived by Leslie, her husband of 65 years, brother Edsel (Beverly), sister Patricia (Victor), sister-in-law Barbara, her children Leslie (Donna), Randall (Ellen), Peggy (Howie), Brenda (Raimo), grandchildren Rachelle, Jordan, Carla, Kevin, Bradley, Brandon, and great grandchildren Shae, Ophelia, Sarah, Maddison, James and many nieces and nephews.
She lived in Winnipeg, Manitoba raising her family and working for Safeway until she followed her husband out west to live their retirement in BC. Mom loved to entertain friends and family and always enjoyed a good game of Scrabble.
She will be remembered for her kindness and generosity. She was loved and cherished by all who knew her and will live on in the hearts of her family and friends.
We wish to thank the nurses at the Penticton Hospital for Eleanor's care, her good friends Kathy and Jim Berg, and to the Moog and Friends Hospice, for their compassion during her brief stay.
No flowers please, but donations may be made to a charity of your choice.
Cremation has taken place with a memorial to follow at a later date.
