In loving memory of Mom, Gramma, and Great Gramma, who passed away peacefully on August 5, 2021.
Betty will be sadly missed by her sons John Murai (Lynn), and George of Penticton, grandchildren Jennifer Browne (Taylor) of Penticton, Amanda Dean (Taylor) of Summerland, Brian Pidskalney (Raeanne) of Nanaimo, BC, and Lane Pidskalney (Nicole) of Nanoose, BC, and great grandchildren Scarlett and Ande of Penticton, and Lakelyn of Nanaimo.
She was sadly predeceased by her husband Steve Murai and son Steve Murai.
Betty moved to Canada from Hungary in 1957 with her husband and two children. They relocated to Penticton in 1960 and she worked at Penticton Regional Hospital for 25 years.
The family would like to thank Dr. Gans, Dr. Stewart, and the staff at Penticton Regional Hospital as well as a special thanks to the staff and residents at the Hamlets for their care and kindness.
There will be a graveside service at Penticton Lakeview Cemetery.
