It is with a heavy heart we announce Gene’s sudden passing on December 19th, 2014. He is survived by his loving wife, Alice, whom he absolutely adored, daughter, Catherine Milne (Herman); granddaughter, Michele McNeilly (Daren); great-grandchildren, Ethan and Rachel, many, many cherished nieces and nephews as well as other extended family from Alberta to Manitoba.
He was predeceased by his parents, Anton & Alice, his 9 siblings and his first wife, Helen (1980). Gene was a kind and gentle soul who always had a smile, a joke and a helping hand for anyone that was lucky enough to cross his path.
