Evelyn passed away peacefully at Penticton Hospital on Oct 6th 2016. She is survived by two children Wendy Godfrey of Courtenay BC and Dwight Botnen of Penticton BC as well as 5 grandchildren and 9 great grandchildren. Evelyn was predeceased by her husband Jergen Botnen and her daughter Myra Drumm of Calgary AB. Evelyn loved nursing and went back to school at 39 years old to become a LPN. She finished her career at Penticton Hospital. She also loved curling and lawn bowling and was very involved with both clubs for many years. She loved to play cards, especially bridge and was always happy when she was holding cards in her hands. At her request there will be no service. Evelyn will be greatly missed by her family and friends.
