Florence Wyatt passed away peacefully on February 1, 2017 at the age of 89 years.

Flo was born in Kamsack, Saskatchewan and moved with her family to the Kootenays as a young girl. She moved to Penticton to work at the cannery where she met Norman. They married in 1947 and spent many wonderful years together raising their family, working in the garden and processing the bounty it produced.

Flo loved to cook and bake and share her creations with friends and family. She made the absolute best apple pie and borscht. She will be remembered for opening her heart and home to friends and family. None left with an empty stomach.

Flo loved and collected elephants (only the ones with trunks up!) To her they symbolized strength and wisdom.

Flo was Mom to Brian (Margie), Susan, Harold and Johnathan,

Grandma to Emilee, Amanda, Larissa (Nathan), Marlee, Tianna, Nic and Josh

and Great Grandma to Ethan and Liam.

We will miss her so much.

She was predeceased by her daughter Gail, her husband Norm, her sister Mary and brother Mike.

The family would like to thank the staff at Westview Extended Care South

and Dr. Masson for their kind and compassionate care.
