Frank fought valiantly after suffering a massive stroke but passed away at Moog and Friends Hospice on September 30, 2018. It is with a heavy heart and a loss for words that we are so sad to say goodbye.
Frank was born in Moncton, NB to parents Frederik and Eva Matheson. Frank has blessed our lives as a loving husband to Judy. A brother to Reg (Caroline), John (Winona), Linda (Hector), Joyce, and Karen. A devoted father to Shawna (Dave), Charlene (John), and David (Tina), and a Grandpa to Mason and Parker. He was an amazing step-dad to Kevin (Lynda), Jacki (Bruce) and Courtney (Casey) Hatfield and "Papa" to Phillip, MacKenzie, Jackson and Carter.
No one will ever be able to share the kind of life experiences, love, caring and attention that this man has given to our large blended family for more than 35 years. May you keep your lines wet and untangled and catch the almighty big lunker in your happy place, Frank!
Many thanks to the wonderful staff on the third floor at PRH and the dedicated staff of the Moog Hospice. The family would also like to thank Dr. Lucy Gans for her outstanding care and compassion.
A Celebration of Life will be held on Sunday, October 28th, 2018 at the Fraternal Order of Eagles, 1197 Main Street, Penticton at 1 pm.
In lieu of flowers, donations can be made to the Penticton and District Hospice Society.
