September 17, 1927 - January 30, 2019
It is with saddened hearts we announce the passing of George Etienne LaRue at the age of 91, beloved husband of Sylvia, on January 30, 2019. He was born in Edmonton, Alberta.
He leaves three children, Patricia (Lawson McKay), Robert (Janet) and Kathleen LaRue; three step children, Louise (Peter Baier), Denise (Glen Heinrick), Lynn (Tony Laing); five grandchildren, six great grandchildren, four step grandchildren and six step great grandchildren.
His passion was feeding the birds, photographing and filming animals. He was a great dancer and loved playing pool and camping. We wish to thank the staff of Haven Hill Retirement Centre who were very kind and caring.
There will be a memorial service at St. Ann's Catholic Church, 1296 Main St., Penticton, Saturday, March 2, 2019 -1:00 pm followed by light refreshments.
