KENYON, GORDON

Gordie Kenyon, (GW) born in Penticton in 1927, has passed away May 24, 2017 after a long and happy life. A talented carpenter, Gord joined the family construction business. Equally important to him, he was a family man, skier, ice boater, sailor, boat builder, pilot, volunteer and traveler. He loved puttering in his workshop. Gordie and Nan loved to explore the back roads around Penticton, the Okanagan, BC and even North America, whether on his dirt bike, in their car or in their motor home.

Gordie was predeceased by the love of his life, his wife Nan (Ann) in 2008, and his brother Al (Nella). He is survived by his children, Carla (Doug), Kerry and Sandy (Gordee), grandchildren, Eric (Arwen), Katie (Cory) and Sidney (Mark), great grandchildren, Reagan and Mason. He is also survived by his brother, Gerald (Carol) and brother in law, Percy (Margaret).

He was a gentleman with a beautiful smile. No service at Gord’s request. In lieu of flowers, donations can be made to the SS Sicamous Restoration Society.
