Harley George Hatfield, age 83, of Penticton, BC, passed away peacefully on Sunday, April 13, 2025.
Born on August 10, 1941, in Penticton, Harley was a husband, father, grandfather, great-grandfather, a good friend to many, and a long-standing, respected member of the community. A well-known local businessman, Harley found his greatest joy in his early days on the golf course, playing cowboy on the ranch with his cows and horses, and always love for his dogs.
Harley is survived by his loving wife, Diane; his children, Kevin (Linda), Jacki (Bruce), Courtney (Casey), Rochelle (Rob); his daughter-in-law Sue (Gary); his grandchildren, Lindsay, Phillip, Mackenzie, Jackson, Carter, and Monroe; and his great-grandchildren, Stella, Anna, Lennon, and Navy. He also leaves behind his Aunty Dinty, and cousins in both Penticton and elsewhere.
He was predeceased by his son, Ryan; his sister, Snooky; his mother, Marge; and his father, Philip.
The family extends heartfelt thanks to the staff at Trinity for their compassionate care during Harley's time there.
A celebration of Harley's life is being planned and will be announced at a later date. In lieu of flowers, donations in Harley's memory may be made to the Canadian Institute for the Blind.
Harley will be deeply missed and lovingly remembered.
