It is with great sadness we announce the passing of mom early Sunday morning. Anne was born in Roblin, Manitoba, the third child of four born to Lloyd and Hilda Day. In 1944 the family moved to Naramata. Anne met and married Alvin Logie, of Summerland, in 1958. She was predeceased by her daughter Carol Anne in 1988 and most recently her husband of 58 years in December 2016. She is survived by her children, Norman (Leah) Logie, Leanda (David) Calder and Darrell (Fiona) Logie; grandchildren, Jessica (Cory), Nicole (Dylan), Mack, Jordan, Nikita, Grace, Jackson and Krista (Jeremy); great grandchildren, Logan, Chase, Beau, Alexander and James. Anne will be deeply missed by all her family including siblings, Ron, Janice and Gwen and her many friends. Anne worked full time at the Naramata Centre for many years. She enjoyed her retired years volunteering at the Naramata Thrift Store and the museum, where she did an incredible job as secretary and treasurer. She contributed so much history and many artifacts for the museum. The family would like to give thanks to Vital Air, The Concorde, PRH, Westview and Haven Hill.
A celebration of Anne's life will take place Saturday, June 8, 2019 - 1:00 pm at Everden Rust Funeral Services, 1130 Carmi Ave., Penticton.
