Jeanne Marie Claire, age 95 of Keremeos, passed away peacefully on Sunday, August 21, 2016. She was born in Paris France. She took the long trip to Canada with her family by boat in her early teens.
Jeanne enjoyed many activities such as walking, swimming and dancing. She loved Stanley Park in Vancouver and spent many summers enjoying the trails and beaches. Good food was very important to her and she was interested in health food long before it was in fashion.
Jeanne loved life. Her smile and laughter were infectious. Jeanne will be remembered as kind and very generous. Her incredible qualities will live on in all her children. We love you mom and we will miss you.
Jeanne is lovingly remembered by her 2 daughters; Diane Wood and Angela Morrow, and grandson, Mathew Francis, and her 2 sons; Hugh and Charlie Morrow. Jeanne will also be missed by special friends; Diane Jensen, David Francis, all the care aides and nurses at Orchard Haven, and everyone else who loved and experienced her zest for life.
Jeanne is predeceased by her father John, her mother Marie, her brother Noel and Sister Yvonne.
