Brian Sera died peacefully at the Hamlets, Penticton, on Sunday, July 7. He was loved by Karen Kellerman, John Sera, Rachel Jeffrey (Jacob Baumgartner), Anne Jeffrey (Lowell Keenan), and grandchildren Georgia Sera and Levi and Elise Baumgartner. Brian was predeceased by his parents Jim and Mary Sera, his brothers Jim and Bob, his daughter Jody Griffiths and his daughter-in-law Kim Sera.
Brian grew up in Magrath, Alberta until he left for university in Edmonton. He had careers in computer engineering, store ownership, real estate sales and was an accomplished craftsman, enjoying stained glass art, woodworking, ceramic work and painting.
A Celebration of Life will be held in the hall of Oasis United Church, 2964 Skaha Lake Road on Saturday, September 14 at 1:30 p.m. All are welcome.
In lieu of flowers donations may be made to the Oasis United Church Food Bank.
