1941 – 2016
John Roger Thompson passed away suddenly on Sunday, April 24, 2016 after a brief illness. We will miss his loyalty, good-hearted wit and special smile. John is survived by his companion, Elaine Bjornson and family, brothers; Bill (Frances), Don (Joyce), Robert (Sharron), Glen (Edith) and Hugh (Bernie); sister in law, Marty Thompson and families. John was predeceased by his parents, Jenny and Wilfred; brothers, Bruce, Delmar (Audrey) and sister, Verona (Don). Memorial tributes can be directed to the Heart & Stroke Foundation. A celebration of John’s life took place in Penticton at his residence, Fleetwood Court.
