It is with much sadness that we announce the passing of our brother John after a brief but brave battle with cancer. John was predeceased by his father Jim, mother Mabel and brother Dan. He is survived by brother Dave Newbold (Dale), sister Mary-Anne Smith (Ross), and his nieces and nephews. John was a kind, gentle soul, who enjoyed reading and gardening. Born in Penticton, John always had a love for the Okanagan and his final wishes were to be brought home to Penticton. There will be no service by request.
