June 9, 1929 - February 24, 2020
June was born June Mary Korabo on June 9th, 1929, in a little town called Aldridge in England. She was one of five children born to Edith Maude and William Truman.
She met Tadeusz Korabo during WWII when he ended up in Manor Hospital where she was working as an SRN. They married in 1952 in Walsall, England. While living in Walsall their first two children were born to them, Sabina and Mark.
June and Tadeusz moved to Vancouver, British Columbia in 1959 and had their last two children, Janette and Jackie. June continued her nursing career in Canada while raising her four children. June loved her family first and foremost.
She doted on her cats, loved reading a good book and working in her garden.
She was predeceased by her husband in 1990 while living in Penticton, BC. She continued to live in the house he renovated for them to the end of her days. Our
beloved Mother, Grandmother and Great grandmother passed away peacefully in her home on February 24th, 2020 at the age of 90.
She will be great missed by her children: Sabina Doyle (Dennis) of North Vancouver, Mark Korabo (Linda) of Kitchener, ON, Janette Korabo of Chilliwack and Jackie Korabo of Penticton, and all her grandchildren and great-grandchildren.
