SMITH, Ken
Ken travelled his last journey on April 17th, 2017. God took him home to join his predeceased relatives and friends. Ken was born in Regina, Sask. in 1934. He resided in Regina and Buena Vista for many years before retiring to Penticton, BC. He was a handyman, a Mr. Fixit who spent hours working on his little motorcycles and tuning his instruments. His very witty sense of humour entertained many acquaintances over the years. Predeceased by his loving wife Margaret in 2002, his father and stepmother (Joseph and Ann Smith) and his mother and stepfather (Dorothy and Daniel Flowers). He leaves to mourn his sister Audrey Wilkinson, half siblings: Wendy Hicke, Jim Smith, Jean Ryan, Jackie Vandale, numerous nieces, nephews and very special friend Sylvia Zettner, whose company in the latter years meant so much to Ken. In honour of Ken’s request there will be no funeral.
