It is with heavy hearts that we announce the passing of Martin Allan Kopas (Marty). Born at Haven Hill Hospital in 1938 passed away June 4, 2018 after a long struggle Martin passed peacefully with his family by his side.
He was predeceased by his parents Martin and Susanne Kopas Sr., and nephew Fred Banford. Martin is survived by his devoted wife Suzanne, Daughters Tracy (Gerry), Kelly (Cam), Sister Esther Banford (Niece Gail Banford, Nephew Allan Banford and their families) 6 grandchildren Robyn (Charlie) Carly (Scott) Kimberly, Jordan, Courtney (Chris) Jaime (Navi) and 6 great grandchildren Emma, Liam, Calista, Faye, Kailyn and Ryland. Martin is also survived by a large extended family and two precious puppies Boo and Sammy.
Martin lived his life pursuing his passion in the Construction and Transportation Industries and spending time with his many friends.
A Private Family Celebration will be held on July 5, 2018 which would have been Martin's 80th Birthday.
