In loving memory of Mary Brettl, beloved wife, mother, grandmother, and cherished friend, who peacefully passed away on July 21 2024 after a long battle with dementia. She was a beacon of love and strength for her family. Mary is survived by her husband, Joseph Brettl. She was a loving mother to Christina, Stephen, and her late son Robert whose lives she enriched with her boundless affection and wisdom. Mary adored her grandchildren, Lisa and Ashleigh, and took great joy in watching them grow and thrive. Mary's life was a testament to kindness, generosity, and resilience. She volunteered throughout the community in Penticton. Her home was a place of warmth and hospitality, where laughter and love abounded. She found enjoyment in ceramic work and a love for fabric painting. She enjoyed gardening and being in the orchard. Mary will be deeply missed and fondly remembered by all who had the privilege of knowing her. Thank you to all the staff at Village by the Station for taking such good care of Mary.
