July 10, 1923 - January 22, 2019
Born in St.Vital, Manitoba, Moe passed away peacefully at the Hamlets Care Home in Penticton, BC. Predeceased by his wife Edna in 2013 and survived by his children, Brian (Dianne) Knight and Garry (Gloria) Knight, 7 grandchildren, 12 great grandchildren and 1 great, great grandchild.
A WWII veteran, Moe served his country in the RCAF from 1941-1945. He worked in the meat industry both in Winninpeg and Vancouver retiring as Beef Manager for Intercontinental Packers. He and Edna enjoyed many years at Birch Bay Leisure Park where he was active on the Board of Directors responsible for Grounds & Maintenance.
The park honoured his many years of service by naming a walking trail he was instrumental in developing which still exists and is known as "Moe's Trail". The family would like to thank Dr. Gans and the staff at the Hamlets for their excellent care over the past 2 years.
