Passed away peacefully at home on February 19, 2016 at the age of 91 years. Remembered and sadly missed by her loving daughter Janis Sinclair of Coquitlam, BC. Leaving nieces and nephews: Mark, Brent, Florence, Jim, Ken, Carolyn, Leanne, Jimmy, Rick, Myrna, Trudy, Coral and Willard. Sadly predeceased by: husband David George Baerg in 1990, all four siblings: Nellie Palmer, Ella Iantkow, Edith Sutherland and Alfred Best. Muriel was born in Sangudo, Alberta but lived her remaining 85 years in the Okanagan Valley. While occupied as a homemaker, sales clerk and professional dressmaker, Muriel’s ingenuity and creativity served her well in diverse challenges from housebuilding with her husband to wedding dress creations.
